So, What do you think about?

What do you think about? I mean, on an everyday basis, what are the thoughts running through your mind?

Are they ones that are giving you joy, or are they ones that worry you?

The reality is it’s normal to have both. Thoughts that bring joy and happiness, as well as thoughts that weigh us down and cause anxiety.

In fact, it would be highly abnormal to never have a sad, or anxious thought. It’s what we do with those thoughts that matters.

I’ve actually had a tough couple of days myself. Last month was a big one, and when it was over, I felt the comedown from that.

What did that look like for me? And what did I make it mean?

I felt like I had no energy, and quite frankly I’d worked my little hinny off! The truth is I was tired. I needed to, stop, listen to my body, and give myself a break.

Taking time for yourself is important. To you, to your family and your business.

There are times when we need to take massive action, and there are times where we need to work smarter, not harder.

Burn out is real! It happens when we are not operating in self-care.

It’s when we don’t take the time to really listen to what our mind and our body are saying to us, that we can end up in overwhelm and anxiety.

So, instead of pushing myself and trying to ignore what my mind was trying to say to me, I let myself relax and take a little time out. Diffuse my favorite oils, play some music and get some sun!

The important thing here is to really capture those thoughts, sit back from them, take a good look at what they are, and see if they are still serving you.

Thoughts are what drive us to feel either happy or sad. Feelings drive us to take action, which will give us a result whether it’s one we like or not.

That’s why it’s necessary to be conscious of what you’re thinking on an everyday basis. What you’re thinking about is generally what is going to be the beginning of the results in your day.

So, if you know you’ve been burning the candle at both ends and your mind is really screaming for a break, take one. Take time out to refresh, re-energize, and clear your mind so you can be your best YOU!
