I’ve had more than one habit over the years I wanted to change.
Smoking was one.
Who’d think that I ever smoked? But I did.
I came to hate it but had so much trouble letting it go.
How did I kick the habit?
For me it was prayer.
I was hiding you see, from everyone. Sneaking a cigarette when no one was watching.
Then one day?
I really heard that voice in the sky say “throw them away.”
I hated the habit enough to change, to let it go.
Boy, it felt great!
That was the first of many changes I’ve had to make in my life.
The more I felt the freedom and power of letting something go, the less resistance I had to change.
There’s a formula I use for this.
BELIEVE you can…….DESIRE the change more than the habit…..
TRUST yourself to do it……..Take ACTION and change!!!
The OUTCOME is freedom and taking back your power over what has kept you from your best life!
What do you want to change about your life?
What has power over you that is bothering you?
What is stopping you?
Do you want to get rolling again in your life?
Do you want to get out of the place where you are and move?
It’s BELIEVING, DESIRING, TRUSTING and ACTING to get the OUTCOME you want.
So take those “chocks” from in front of the wheels of your life and drive!
