Three things to do so you can celebrate the New Year feeling refreshed instead of worn out!

I love to sit on my front porch in my rocking chair.

When it is storming.

When it is snowing.

When there’s a chill in the air and I have a hot coffee or chocolate and a blanket wrapped around me.

I love sitting out there after we’ve got the Christmas lights up and they are twinkling and seeming to invite joy.

But, in years past, I’ve found myself so busy and running around trying to fit everything into an already crammed schedule, that I’ve not sat out there as much as I really wanted to.

So, this year?   I’m changing that.

I worked through a few tips that I am going to share with you right now to make your Holidays filled with more joy and time!

Tip number 1.  The very first thing I’m going to do is make a list.

Not the “Naughty and Nice” list, but the list of what exactly has to be done and what does NOT!

Yes, there is heaps to do at this time of the year, shopping, cooking decorating and thinking about it all is tiring!  So make yourself a list.

Tip number 2.  Get your priorities right!

What did you write on that list that really doesn’t have to get done?  I bet you can find a few things there that you can cross off and your Holidays will still be a lot of fun, perhaps, even more, when you are not doing something you really don’t like, or want to do.

Tip Number 3. Delegate!

I can hear what you are thinking, but I have to do it or it won’t be done perfectly, right?  Let me tell you a secret.  You don’t have to do it all.  Get your kids, or your hubby to help with the tree decorating.  Make it fun!  Make a memory instead of a chore.  Have a day where you get everyone involved in baking whatever it is you love at this time of the year. Make a memory.

Well, I have a lot more tips I can give you about making this time of the year a joyous one instead of a stressful one, but I hope these three will really help you to get started.

If you really want more help with taking the stress out of your Holidays, I have something special coming up next week.  You can go here to find out more about it, but, it’s a four-week group coaching that is going to make your holidays the best it can be this year!
